What is Kambo? (Sapo)
Kambo is an intelligent, spiritual and detoxifying energy derived from the secretion of the bicolor frog, Phyllomedusa bicolor.
With laxative, immune-boosting effects, often referred to as Vacina de Floresta, or "vaccine of the forest". Indigenous tribes in the Amazon have used this medicine throughout history to enhance hunting and healing.
Traditionally, this frog secretion was used as "Kambo medicine" to eliminate the dark energy known as "panema," which indigenous people believed to be the source of all physical and mental ailments. Today, the frog has spread throughout the world for healing, spiritual growth, and research.
Kambo / Sapo is proven not to be poison! After numerous international researches, no toxic component could be detected in the Kambo secretion! The frog secretion contains laboratory-chemically proven bioactive peptides, which are absorbed as endogenous during the Kambo session and initiate natural detoxification reactions.
We like to combine Kambo with Breathwork and yoga in the days before and after to ensure both optimal preparation and post-interventional integration. Also, Kambo has a strong spiritual energy that can work many miracles in understanding the universal whole. Read more under the point Science.
The Process
During the process, the secretion is mixed with water and formed into small dots or "blobs".
A small, superficial burn is made on the top layer of skin to allow the kambo to enter the lymphatic system. Each experience is different, although it usually begins with a comfortable heat as the kambo scans the body and travels to specific areas, spreading through the tissues.
When the bio-peptides are activated in the body and the person receives the frog's DNA, the heart rate increases and the face may also swell, which differs depending on the level of toxicity. The effect varies widely - the cleansing can take the form of a purge, diarrhea, crying, sweating, yawning or a feeling of electricity as the mind, body and spirit release both physical and energetic blockages. Afterwards you can feel lighter, freer and more attuned to the higher self. The gates are supplied with dragon's blood (Sange de Drago), a reddish disinfecting and wound-sealing liquid from the dragon tree Croton lechleri.
Days to months later, people typically feel incredibly relaxed with clarity, pain reduction, and ease. Tools such as sound therapy and energy work are used throughout the process to guide and protect you.

Science
Kambo has been on the Western scientific scene for decades, contributing to groundbreaking research into many of the most common "incurable" diseases.
Research on the chemical composition of Kambo has been conducted since the 1960s. The healing capacities were found in short chains of amino acids, so-called peptides. These bioactive peptides affect the gastrointestinal muscles and blood flow and stimulate the adrenal cortex and pituitary gland in the brain. The well-known peptides in Kambo have been replicated by pharmaceutical companies that hold over 70 patents and offer many popular drugs on the market today. However, none can compare to the effectiveness of Kambo. A complete reproduction of the frog secretion has not yet succeeded.
Based on our knowledge of the main peptides present in Kambo, effects on the following conditions are known:
- Depression
- Migraine
- Circulatory disorders
- Alzheimer's and Parkinson's
- Strokes
- seizures
- vascular insufficiency
- organ diseases
- Cancer
- fertility problems
- Deep rooted toxins
- Chronic pain
- Addiction to opiate or painkillers
- fever and infections
- AIDS
- Hepatitis
- Lyme disease
- Autoimmune diseases (notably Hashimoto's)
- Negative Energies (traditionally known as “panema”)
Is Kambo dangerous?
Kambo is not poison! Kambo is undoubtedly an uncomfortable treatment, but it is also a very safe one. However, careful and correct application is important.
To date, there is no evidence that Kambo poses a risk when used competently.
If Kambo is used improperly, there may be a delay in the process after the Kambo session, among other things. Therefore, you should strictly adhere to the following points:
- A feel-good atmosphere is essential. You need to be able to relax and let go during the Kambo session.
- The session should only take place after a consultation in which all your questions have been clarified. This is also important as it contributes to your relaxation and thus to your well-being.
- Sympathy is the basis for your well-being. You should be able to completely trust the person treating you.
- In the session, work with Kambo, not against it. You will vomit at the session. We carry out a detailed water assessment according to the IAKP standard. Think of vomiting as a detox. Do not try to stop this or you will increase your discomfort. Before the Treatment everything will be discussed in detail, I will guide you safely through the session.
One last point: Inform the person treating you about all your previous illnesses and about long-term medication or other medication you are taking.
Did Kambo cause deaths?
Again: the Kambo secretion is not poisonous. I belong to the IAKP (international association of Kambo practitioners). We are qualified and maintain treatment and safety standards. No deaths have occurred as a result of the Kambo treatment. When used correctly, the "Spiritual Frog Medicine" is a very safe one.
There is also no risk of overdosing. The number and size of the gates that take in the frog secretion is limited, so an infinite amount of it cannot be absorbed. Furthermore, the treating person slowly feels their way forward, so that initially only small amounts are absorbed.

Bioactive Peptides
Italian scientist Vittorio Erspamer from the University of Rome studied the secretion from the 1980s and isolated the peptides as follows:
Phyllokinin & Phyllomedusins
Vasodilators that increase the permeability of the blood-brain barrier (for their own use and for the use of other active peptides). They also have antimicrobial and antifungal properties.
Caeruleins & Sauvagines
They contract the colon and bladder, cause tachycardia and hypotension, and improve sensory perception by stimulating the adrenal cortex and pituitary gland. Also increase physical strength and have the ability to overcome pain, stress, illness and fatigue. They improve digestion and have analgesic properties.
dermorphine and deltorphine
Consists of 7 amino acids. 4000x stronger than morphine and 40x stronger than endogenous endorphins.
adenoregulin
Acts through the adenosine receptors studied in depression, stroke and cognitive loss disorders (e.g. Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease).
dermaseptin
Broad-spectrum antimicrobial peptides with lethal activity against fungal species (notably the opportunistic filamentous fungi commonly associated with immunodeficiency syndrome), gram-positive and grand-negative bacteria, yeast and protozoa. Dermaseptin B2 and B3 are being studied for their ability to kill cancer cells (prevention of angiogenesis of tumor cells with selective cytotoxicity).
Bradykinins
Similar to bradykinin in humans, these bradykinins are hypotensive and cause vasodilation, contraction of non-vascular smooth muscle and an increase in vascular permeability. They also appear to be effective in the context of inflammatory pain.
bombesine
Act on gastric G-cells to secrete hydrochloric acid and stimulate pancreatic secretion, intestinal myoelectric activity and smooth muscle contractility.
ceruleins
Accelerate gastric, bile and pancreatic secretions and stimulate certain smooth muscles.
tryptophilins
Neuropeptides with 4 to 14 amino acids.
